Meet Our Team
Amy will be your liaison from your initial consultation through the time of surgery. She will assist you with your financial arrangements, schedule your surgery and be available to you for guidance while making your important pre-operative decisions. Amy has over 2 decades of experience in the cosmetic surgery industry. Her cheerful and accommodating nature will allow you to feel like you’ve know her for years and are talking to your BFF.
Amy grew up on a large horse farm in Maryland. She graduated from The University of Maryland and is still a dedicated Terps Fan. She moved to Colorado in 1999 and although she misses the beach, she loves calling beautiful Colorado her home and roots for The Broncos. She is married (to Tom Hardesty, our resident Massage Therapist) and has a son and daughter that keep her very busy. She loves spending time with her family and friends and being outdoors.
Fun fact: She was attacked by an Armadillo when she was 10 years old!
Karen Grace, CST, SA
Surgical Technician, Surgical Assistant
Karen has been a part of the team since 2008. Beginning as a Surgical Technologist and then furthering her education to become a Surgical Assistant, she has been the right hand in the operating room as well as the clinic setting. She has been a Surgical Technologist since 1998 and a Surgical Assistant since 2014 in cosmetic and plastic surgery. She is proficient at assisting with cosmetic surgery procedures such as body liposuction with fat transfer, facelifts, rhinoplasty, eyelid surgeries, and many more. During her spare time you will find Karen enjoying quality time with her family (which includes her 3 awesome pups), traveling, dirt biking, yoga and gym time.
Fun Fact: She is terrified of snakes! …..to no surprise, it’s her older brothers fault.
Sharon Swedo, MA
Sharon Moved to Colorado in 1999 from the L.A. area. She brings over 30 years of experience as a Nationally Certified Medical Assistant. She has been with Modern Surgical Arts since August of 2018. She loves getting to know and caring for her patients. Sharon is an empathetic and compassionate care giver. She is always available to answer questions with a warm, friendly smile.
Sharon has 2 sons, 2 grandsons and two adorable cats. She enjoys crafting, painting, and is an exceptional cook!
Fun Fact: Sharon’s favorite time of the year is Halloween……She loves to hunt ghosts!
Front Office Coordinator
Debi brings over 5 years in the medical industry. She has spent her adult life working in customer service and excels in her strong interpersonal communication and phone skills. She has patience in answering questions and prides herself on making sure patients feel comfortable and heard. Debi loves to learn and enjoys all the opportunities the cosmetic surgery world has to offer!
Debi is a 3rd generation Colorado Native and an Arapahoe High School Alumni! She loves living and working in the area she grew up in. She has two children who are also AHS Warriors! Her son chose to join the Army after graduation & she couldn’t be more proud! Debi has been singing all her life & now sings in the Colorado Choir. She also enjoys yoga, meditation, and pink cupcakes.
Fun fact: Debi can walk with books on her head & knows her ABCs backwards & forwards
Ralph has over 10 years of anesthesia experience in hospital settings at UCHealth and Rose Medical. He has been involved in several quality initiatives at these sites to improve anesthesia care. Ralph has experience in a variety of office based clinics including ketamine infusions, dental implants, and outpatient procedures. He takes pride in delivering anesthesia care that enhances patient safety and satisfaction. He enjoys snowboarding, fly fishing, and woodworking in his spare time.
Certified Medical Assistant
Tabitha has been in the health and beauty industry for over 25 years as a National Certified Medical Assistant. She moved to Colorado in 2002 from Southern California. She has been with Modern Surgical Arts since February 2019. She will be by your side at your initial consultation and will assist you through your cosmetic treatments. Tabitha likes to ensure every patient she meets feels welcomed and educated about their cosmetic goals. On her spare time, Tabitha enjoys spending time with her husband and their beautiful children with a grandbaby on the way! She enjoys hiking, yoga and watching her kids play sports.
Fun fact: Tabitha loves to rescue dogs as she has 3 of her own!
Aesthetician and Medical Assistant
Regina moved to Colorado in 1982. Graduating from the College of International Esthetics, Regina’s love for science and medicine brought her to a career as a medical esthetician. Regina continues to educate herself not only on how her treatments are effective by what it’s doing for the body, but also the ingredients in the products used giving her a way to truly help an individual achieve the results they desire.
Growing up, Regina danced ballet (hence why her feet are so small) and rode horses competitively as a hunter jumper. In her spare time she loves to refurbish furniture, acrylic canvas paint, travel with her husband Scott, spend time with their two kids Anthony & Gianna and their three dogs Sunny, Moose and Chewy.
Fun Fact: Regina was chosen as an alternate for horse riding in the 1994 Olympics!
